JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A Mississippi man was one of 11 individuals who were pardoned by President Joe Biden on Tuesday, April 24.
The president announced Bobby Darrell Lowery, 50, of Jackson, was pardoned. Lowery was convicted of a non-violent drug offense at the age of 25.
According to the White House, Lowery his sentence and successfully completed the terms of his probation.
“Since his release, he has maintained steady employment and actively volunteers at his church and at various community-based organizations,” the news release said.
