RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – There will be temporary lane closures on U.S. 80 in Brandon for more than a month.
According to the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT), the inside lanes of U.S. 80 westbound over the KCS railroad between Marquette Road and Interstate 20 in Brandon will be closed.
The temporary closures began at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24 and are expected to end on May 28.
Crews will perform bridge maintenance. Drivers are asked to slow down and stay alert for roadside crews.
