NATCHEZ, Miss. (WJTV) – A fugitive, who was wanted in Texas, was captured in Natchez on Tuesday, May 7.
The Natchez Democrat reported Eric Harris was found hiding in a home on Martin’s Lane.
Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said the sheriff’s office received a call by the U.S. Marshal’s Service requested assistance in apprehending Harris. He was wanted in Texas on a family violence assault by occlusion charge.

Natchez police also responded to the scene. Harris was arrested after a two hour standoff.
