JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police have identified a suspect in connection to a homicide that happened in January 2024.

Detective Tommie Brown said an arrest warrant has been issued for Antonio Hackett, Sr., 46. He will be charged with murder and is considered to be armed and dangerous.

The shooting that occurred on Bay Street near Ridgway Street around 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28. The victim died at the location.
