JONES COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – One person was killed during a two-vehicle crash in Jones County.

The crash happened just before 10:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10 on Highway 29 near Little Sawmill Road. When firefighters arrived at the location, they found a sedan and a pickup involved in the crash. According to officials, one person had been ejected.

One victim was deceased at the location. Officials said one person had minor injuries and another person had moderate injuries.

The two injured victims were taken to a local hospital.

The crash is under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP).
