31,000 power outages in Mississippi from Monday’s storms

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – More than 31,000 Mississippi customers are without power after severe storms on Monday, May 13.

The outages mainly occurred in the southwest part of the state.

According to PowerOutage.us, the following electric companies reported the most outages as of 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 13:

  • Southwest Mississippi EPA – 7,012
  • Southern Pine Electric – 5,700
  • Pearl River Valley EPA – 5,357
  • Entergy Mississippi – 4,395
  • Magnolia Electric Power – 3,949
  • Singing River Electric – 1,903
  • Dixie EPA – 1,091
