LAWRENCE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Schools in the Lawrence County School District and the Marion County School District will be closed on Monday, May 13.

Officials with the Lawrence County School District said campuses and offices will be closed due to severe weather and hazardous road conditions.

Marion County officials said the severe weather caused power outages and blocked roads along large portions of the district.

The Natchez-Adams School District moved to virtual learning on Monday, May 13.
