MADISON, Miss. (WJTV) – Madison police said a standoff at a home ended peacefully.
The incident happened around 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 20 at a home in the Reserve Crossing subdivision.
Madison police said a father and his 25-year-old son were involved in a domestic incident. They said a gun was involved, but no shots were fired during the incident.
The family was able to leave the home, while the 25-year-old was inside. Crisis negotiators with the Madison Police Department responded to the scene. The standoff ended around 1:00 p.m.
No one was injured. Police said they’re still investigating the dispute between the father and son.
