YAZOO CITY, Miss. (WJTV) – Two people were injured in a Yazoo City shooting that’s believed to be gang-related.

Yazoo City Police Chief Terry Gann said the shooting happened on Meadow Drive on Wednesday, May 22 around 7:30 p.m.

According to Gann, the two victims were shot multiple times during a drive-by shooting. They’re both in stable condition.

Gann said the shooting is believed to be gang-related. Agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have been requested to assist in the investigation.
