OXFORD, Miss. (WJTV) – The 2024 Battle for the Golden Egg will be on Black Friday.

According to officials, Ole Miss will face Mississippi State at home on Friday, November 29. Kickoff for the Egg Bowl has been set for 2:30 p.m. CT.

The Egg Bowl was previously set for Saturday, November 30.

This is the Rebels’ first Friday contest against the Bulldogs since 2008, one of just five all-time against Mississippi State alongside games in 1916, 1921, 2007 and 2008.

Ole Miss won the 2023 Egg Bowl against the Bulldogs in Starkville.
