PORT GIBSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A fourth suspect has been arrested in connection to the 2023 shooting death of a man in Port Gibson.

Vicksburg Daily News announced Jamarrious Hamilton, of Port Gibson, was arrested on Thursday, May 30 by agents with the U.S. Marshal’s Service and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI).

The shooting happened on Chinquepin Street in Port Gibson on January 15, 2023. The victim was identified as Carl McDaniel. His body was found inside a pickup truck.

Robert Mays was charged with first-degree murder in connection to the case. Natasha McDaniel, who is the wife of the victim, was also charged with first-degree murder of her husband.

In February 2023, investigators arrested Justin Bailey, of Port Gibson, in connection to the fatal shooting.
