JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a bicyclist was hit and killed by a vehicle.

Detective Tommie Brown said the incident occurred around 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 9 on Interstate 20 Frontage Road.

Brown said the victim is an adult male. He has not been identified.

According to the detective, the driver of the vehicle did stop and told police they did not see the bicyclist. As of Sunday, June 9, the driver is not facing any criminal charges.
