JEFFERSON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Jefferson County deputies arrested a 13-year-old in connection to a fatal stabbing.

Investigators said the incident occurred on Green Acres Drive on Sunday, June 9.

When deputies arrived at the location, they found 34-year-old Phillip Queen deceased at the location. He had been stabbed multiple times.

Investigators said an unidentified 13-year-old was charged with murder in this case. The teen made his initial appearance in court on Monday, June 10 and was denied bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
