MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A 45-year-old motorcyclist died during a crash in Madison County.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said the crash happened just before 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13 on U.S. 49 North near Middle Road.

According to troopers, a 2002 Yamaha Motorcycle, driven by Jerome Wilson, of Flora, ran off the road and collided with a ditch. Wilson died at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by MHP.
