JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after two people were injured during a drive-by shooting and shooting into an occupied home.

The shooting happened in the 500 block of Belvedere Road on Wednesday, June 19.

Detective Tommie Brown said officers responded to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) after two victims were brought to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made in the case.
