JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after one person was shot at a home.

Detective Tommie Brown said the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 at a home near McDowell Road.

According to Brown, the victim had multiple injuries. He said the victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.
