BROOKHAVEN, Miss. (WJTV) – Brookhaven police are investigating after a 23-year-old man was shot and killed after a fight.

The Daily Leader reported the shooting happened at the apartments in the 200 block of Pennington Street around 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22.

Brookhaven police said William Young was shot multiple times and died. Police Chief Kenny Collins said the suspect is a teenager.

The shooting remains under investigation.
