CLEVELAND, Miss. (WJTV) – The New York Times named a Mississippi restaurant as one of the best pizza places in the United States.

Leña Pizza & Bagel was recognized by the New York Times as one of the 22 best pizza places in the country on Tuesday, June 25.

The restaurant, located at 331 Cotton Row in Cleveland, Mississippi, is co-owned by Marisol Doyle and her husband, Rory. Doyle is also the restaurant’s chef.

According to the New York Times report, Doyle studied pizza making in Naples, Italy. The menu changes weekly for the restaurant.

Leña Pizza & Bagel offers pizza from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday to Saturday. They also offer bagels from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (or until sell-out) on Saturday only.
