3 arrested after Claiborne County drive-by shooting injures 4

CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Three suspects have been arrested in connection to a drive-by shooting in Claiborne County.

Deputies said they responded to a shooting on Northside Drive on Monday, May 27. They said four men had been shot at the location, and a black Nissan Altima had been struck by multiple bullets.

The victims were transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) in Jackson for treatment.

Claiborne County deputies identified the suspects as Clydarrious Johnson, Jeremiah Jackson, and a juvenile. They were arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, drive-by shooting, possession of stolen firearms, and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Investigators said more arrests and charges are possible.
