JONES COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – Jones County deputies are investigating after human remains were discovered.

Authorities said the remains were located near Tom Windham Road near Tallahala Creek on Wednesday, June 26.

Investigators said the remains have been identified as 35-year-old Desmond Frost, of Waynesboro. His death is being investigated as a homicide. 

EMSERV Ambulance Service and the Jones County Coroner’s Office also responded to the scene.
