JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a man was shot multiple times.

Detective Tommie Brown said the shooting happened around 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 28. He said the exact location of the shooting is unknown.

The unidentified victim was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) for treatment. He’s in stable condition.

Brown said officers have not identified a suspect in the shooting.
