BRANDON, Miss. (WJTV) – Brandon police arrested a suspect after a man was stabbed.

Brandon Police Chief Joseph French said the stabbing happened in the 200 block of Appleridge Road just before 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment in stable condition.

French said the suspect, 48-year-old Jeremy Davis, has been arrested in connection to the incident. He was charged with one count of aggravated assault and transported to the Rankin County Jail.
