JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A woman was injured during a drive-by shooting at a Jackson apartment complex.

The shooting happened at The Park at Inverness on Ridgewood Road on Monday, July 15.

Investigators said a black vehicle pulled up to the location and opened fire. Jackson police said the woman was shot once, and her injuries don’t appear to be life-threatening.
