YAZOO COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Yazoo County deputies seized contraband that was located inside the fence of the Yazoo County Regional Correctional Facility.
The incident occurred just after 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13. Deputies were dispatched to the facility in reference to two suspects near the outer perimeter fence.
When deputies searched the area, they did not find the two suspects. However, they did locate contraband inside of the fence. The contraband included 14 Sprite bottles, seven Coca-Cola bottles, and four packages of marijuana. Authorities said the bottles contained alcohol.

No arrests have been made as of Monday, July 15.
