MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A crash in Lafayette County, Mississippi early Tuesday morning led to the death of a teenager, the Mississippi Highway Patrol said.
Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Highway 30 in Lafayette County at approximately 6:30 a.m.
A 2016 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 18-year-old Logan C. Williams was traveling east on Highway 30.
When it entered the westbound lane, Williams’ car collided with a tractor-trailer, MHP said.
Williams received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The crash is under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
