CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) – Clinton students returned to class for the 2024-25 school year on Monday, July 22.

“We’re excited. It’s going to be fun. It’s a little bit sad to think it’s our last first day, but made some fun memories last night. And it’s going to be fun today,” said a Clinton High School senior.

“I’m so excited to be have one last year with all our best friends. I’m excited for football season coming up and for all the memories you’re about to make together. And it’s just going to be a really fun year,” said another senior.

This is the second year for the school district to be on a modified schedule. Some seniors said it’s given them more time to make memories.
