JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Hinds County office of the Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS) temporarily closed on Wednesday, July 24.
MDHS officials said the office closed due to an air conditioning system outage. They said the issue was discovered on Wednesday, which forced the closure for safety reasons.
According to the agency, the issue was resolved by Wednesday evening. The office will open to service clients on Thursday, July 25.
