MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A K9 with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks (MDWFP) helped locate three missing children.
Authorities said the three children disappeared around 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25 from their home in Monroe County.
MDWFP Officer Starling and K9 Charlie reached the children’s last known location around 4:15 p.m. Starting there, Starling presented Charlie an article of clothing from one of the kids. Within 15 minutes of searching, officials said the K9 was able to track and locate all three children.
