MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A two-year-old was shot in the head in Marshall County overnight according to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident happened at 14 Thornton Cove at around midnight.

Officials told WREG that a man and woman were arguing when a gun went off and shot the child who was lying in bed.

The child is currently in the hospital in extremely critical condition.

Two adults were taken into custody but have not been charged yet.
