Husband shot, killed by wife in Mississippi, police say

KOSCIUSKO, Miss. (WJTV) – Kosciusko police are investigating after they said a man was killed during a domestic dispute with his wife.

Kosciusko Police Chief Greg Collins said officers responded to Baptist Medical Center – Attala around 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8 in reference to a shooting.

According to Collins, 31-year-old Markquarius Jones was shot by his wife, 26-year-old Semyia Jones, at the Marathon gas station on Highway 12 East. He was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The police said said Semyia Jones has been charged with murder.
