Three wanted in connection to Jackson homicide

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are searching for at least three suspects in connection to a Thursday homicide.

Detective Tommie Brown said the shooting happened in the 5300 block of Interstate 55 North Frontage Road on August 8. Police said the victim, Fredrick Smith, was shot at the location and was pronounced deceased.

Brown said investigators are working to identify the individuals in a white vehicle. The vehicle appears to be a white Honda Accord with a black and red paper tag with ‘WAS’ letters. Brown said the vehicle was occupied by at least three individuals.
