ADAMS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A 49-year-old man was killed during a crash in Adams County, authorities said.

The crash happened on Highway 84 just before 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 15.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said a 2025 Western Star, driven by Robert Berryhill III, of Smithdale, was traveling east on the highway when the vehicle left the road and collided with a creek embankment.

Berryhill was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by MHP.
