YAZOO, COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Deputies conducted a mass shakedown at the Yazoo County Correctional Facility and seized multiple items.
According to investigators, the shakedown occurred around 12:20 a.m. on Thursday, August 15.

More than 50 cellphones were discovered, as well as alcohol, knives, homemade tattoo guns, bags of marijuana, bags of methamphetamine, Wi-Fi hotspot modems and homemade phone charges.
Yazoo County deputies were assisted by other law enforcement agencies.
