WAYNE COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – Agents with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) are investigating after two people were injured during a shooting in Waynesboro.

The shooting occurred on Friday, August 16 near U.S. 84 East.

Bailey Martin, press secretary for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (DPS), said the two victims were able to drive themselves to a local hospital. No arrests have been made at this time.
