COVINGTON COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – A Covington County student was killed during a crash.

Covington County School District Superintendent Jon Chancelor said the crash occurred on Monday, August 19. The student was identified as Josiah Hutton.

“He was a seventh grade student at Mount Olive Attendance Center. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. The Covington County School District will continue to keep his family and friends in our thoughts and prayers,” said Chancelor.
