CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A 19-year-old from Port Gibson was killed during an early morning crash.

The crash occurred on Highway 18 West in Claiborne County around 4:10 a.m. on Saturday, August 24.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said a 2017 Nissan Altima was traveling west on Highway 18 near R.K. Neal Road when the vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree. Troopers said the driver, 19-year-old Air’Eonna R. Miller, received fatal injuries and died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by MHP.
