FRANKLIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A 19-year-old’s body was recovered from the Homochitto River in Franklin County.

Robert Bradford, the Adams County EMA Director, said the body of Jose Luis Galindo, of Honduras, was recovered just before 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25. Bradford was assisting at the scene.

According to the Franklin County sheriff, Galindo’s death was an accidental drowning.
