NATCHEZ. Miss. (WJTV) – Adams County deputies and Natchez police are searching for a suspect who hit a parked patrol vehicle.

The Natchez Democrat reported the incident occurred at Susie B. West apartments around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said the suspect hit a deputy’s parked patrol car and fled the scene. He said the suspect’s vehicle crashed into a light pole, and the suspect fled into a wooded area near the intersection of Lower Woodville and Saragossa roads.

As of Friday morning, the suspect has not been located.
