OXFORD, Miss. (WJTV) – College football returns to Mississippi for the 2024 season! The Sports Zone team has special coverage ahead of the games.

The Sports Zone Saturday show will air from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on WJTV 12 News and on WREG.

No. 6 Ole Miss will face Furman at home on Saturday, August 31. The game will kickoff at 6:00 p.m. CT and can be watched on ESPN+ or SECN+.

Mississippi State will face Eastern Kentucky at home on Saturday. The game will kickoff at 5:00 p.m. CT and can be watched SECN+.

Southern Miss will be on the road to face Kentucky in Lexington on Saturday. The game will kickoff at 7:45 p.m. CT and can be watched on the SEC Network.

The Memphis Tigers will face North Alabama at home on Saturday. The game will kickoff at 6:00 p.m. CT and can be watched on ESPN+.

Tennessee will face Chattanooga at home on Saturday. The game will kickoff at 12:45 p.m. CT and can be watched on the SEC Network.

Both Jackson State and Alcorn State opened their seasons on Thursday, August 29.
