GRENADA COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A 62-year-old man was killed during a crash in Grenada County.

The crash occurred on Highway 8 just before 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30.

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP), a Subaru STX was traveling east on the highway when it left the roadway and collided with an embankment.

Troopers said the driver, 62-year-old Barry Campbell, of Grenada, received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by MHP.
