JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – College football returns to Mississippi for the 2024 season! The Sports Zone team has special coverage ahead of this week’s games.

The Sports Zone Saturday show will air from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on WJTV 12 News and on WREG.

No. 5 Ole Miss will face Georgia Southern at home on Saturday, September 21. The game will kickoff at 6:45 p.m. CT on the SEC Network.

Mississippi State will face Florida at home on Saturday. The game will kickoff at 11:00 a.m. CT on ESPN.

Southern Miss will be on the road and will face Jacksonville State. The game will kickoff at 2:00 p.m. CT on ESPN+.

Jackson State will also be on the road and will face Grambling. The game will kickoff at 6:00 p.m. CT on ESPN+.

Alcorn State will be on the road to face McNeese State. The game will kickoff at 7:00 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
