COPIAH COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A woman has been arrested for allegedly killing a man in Copiah County.
Copiah County deputies said they received a call from the Copiah County Medical Center about the male victim just before 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21. They said the shooting occurred at the Oakridge Apartments in Crystal Springs.
According to investigators, the victim, 27-year-old Camron Brown, was shot once in the chest. He died from his injuries.
Deputies arrested 25-year-old Jermonique Martin in connection to the case. She has been charged with murder and is being held in the Copiah County Detention Center without bond.
