Three Vicksburg men charged in drive-by shooting

VICKSBURG, Miss. (WJTV) – Three Vicksburg men were arrested in connection to a shooting that injured a man this summer.

Police said Willie Johnson, 49; Jermaine Johnson, 46; and Calbert Cosby, 22; were arrested on Thursday, September 26.

The shooting occurred in the 4100 block of Washington Street on Friday, June 7. When officers arrived at the location, they found a wrecked vehicle. The victim, 25-year-old Devontay Knight, was suffering from a gunshot wound.

Willie Johnson has been charged with drive-by shooting and aggravated assault with a firearm. His bond was set at $225,000. Jermaine Johnson was charged with drive-by shooting and aggravated assault. His bond was also set at $225,000. Cosby was charged with drive-by shooting and aggravated assault. His bond was set at $250,000.
