JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Officials with the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) announced the addition of a new nonstop flight between the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (JAN) and Nashville, Tennessee (BNA).

“Since Southwest’s highly anticipated return to Jackson in 2021, Mississippians have enjoyed more nonstop flight options, including direct flights from Jackson to Baltimore, Houston, Atlanta, and Orlando. JMAA is thrilled about this new Nashville service and Southwest’s strong presence in the market,” officials said.

The flights will begin on April 8, 2025. The JAN-BNA flight schedules are ready for sale on www.southwest.com.
