PIKE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A McComb man was sentenced to 85 years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) in a sexual assault case.

The Daily Leader reported that Billy Joe Bueto, 63, was found guilty on one count of sexual battery, two counts of touching and handling a helpless person for gratification of lust, and three counts of filming another person without permission where there is an expectation of privacy.

On June 15, 2023, Pike County deputies said they responded to Van Norman Curve Road in reference to sexual assault. During the investigation, deputies said multiple videos had been posted onto various websites showing the victim being sexually assaulted by Bueto.

After the jury returned a guilty verdict on September 27, 2024, a judge sentenced Bueto to 85 years in prison, and he will have to serve the first 50 years day for day.
