Man dies at Jackson gas station after being shot

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after an argument led to a fatal shooting.

Detective Tommie Brown said two men got into an argument on Medgar Evers Boulevard around 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3. Brown said the victim, a 20-year-old man, was inside a vehicle at the time of the fight and was shot by the suspect, a 44-year-old man.

The victim drove to a gas station in the 6700 block of Medgar Evers Boulevard before he died from his injuries. The suspect was arrested by Jackson police. The victim and the suspect have not been identified.
