VICKSBURG, Miss. (WJTV) – A Vicksburg man was arrested in connection to a shooting that injured a man on Speed Street.

Police said the shooting occurred in the 1100 block of Speed Street on Tuesday, October 1.

Nicholas Clay, 29, was arrested at the Vicksburg Police Department on Thursday, October 3. He was charged with aggravated assault and shooting into a dwelling.

Clay appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Thursday, and his bond was set at $50,000.
