JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The November General Election is quickly approaching.
In Mississippi, the ballot feature will feature the presidential race, congressional races and races for the Mississippi Supreme Court.
The Hinds County Election Commission expects a large voter turnout on November 5, 2024.
“In terms of that we’re ordering ballots, we have basically, you know, getting the voting material, the ballots out and the supply bags ready to go in which they would be picked up on that Monday prior to the election on the 4th between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. We are checking the ballots, and we are getting ready to do order of the ballots based on the prospective outcome,” said Jermal Clark, Hinds County Election Commissioner for District 3.
Poll managers said it’s best to verify your polling location and address before you cast your ballot.
