MAGEE, Miss. (WJTV) – The body of a 92-year-old woman was found inside a Magee home after a house fire.

Magee police said the fire occurred at a home on 8th Street around 10:12 p.m. on Thursday, October 17.

The victim was identified as Annie Langston. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the State Fire Marshal’s Office, according to police.

Simpson County deputies, Magee firefighters and the Covington County Ambulance Service also responded to the scene.
