JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A Jackson firefighter was injured while responding to a house fire early Monday morning.

The fire happened at an abandoned home in the 3900 block of O’Bannon Drive just before 4:15 a.m. on Monday, October 21.

According to fire officials, one firefighter was treated at the scene for a small burn. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
